What is the difference between Prints vs. Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints?
All of my art prints are printed in a professional lab. They are printed on archival photographic paper (Fujicolor Crystal Archive) with a lustre finish that carries the color and intensity of the art, magnificently. I hand cut mat boards to fit over the prints, using archival mat boards in an off-white color. Each print is hand signed and titled on the mat board front and backed with protective acid-free foam core. The print arrives in a clear archival bag and is shipped in a sturdy box. Each print is ready to frame in standard size frames.
Gallery Wrapped Canvas Prints are a wonderful option if you are looking for a polished, ready to hang piece of art. These high-quality giclée prints are printed on artist quality canvas with a coating of UV light protection. The prints come stretched and ready to hang with hanging hardware already attached to the back of the canvas print. Each canvas is hand-signed on the front and titled on the back, and hangs 1.25 inches out from the wall. The canvas prints are ready to hang on the wall without framing, although, you may frame them, too. Canvas prints are created custom and take 2-3 weeks to arrive to you.
How do I frame my double matted print?
My prints are sold in standard sizes to make it easy for customers to frame. There are a variety of ready-made frames available at frame stores.
Here is an example of what one of my prints looks like framed. This is a 16x20 Dancing with the Stars double matted print. I have used online custom framing shops such as picture frames.com to order a wide variety of frames for custom art. I also shop at Michaels, Aaron Brothers and IKEA for frame deals.
You may frame your note cards, too! Many of my customers do this. They are great for gifts and make for a handsome set of art in small spaces.
Each note card has an art print adhered to a natural vellum finish, 65 lb., acid-free, archival piece of card stock.
The card comes with a matching natural color envelope and is sealed in a protective, clear, flap seal bag that is acid and lignin free and archival safe. Buy 5x7 frames (you'll have to trim a little bit off one edge to get it to fit inside the frame).
How are your prints and cards packaged?
My prints and notecards are carefully packed as securely as possible so they will arrive in perfect condition.
Depending on how many you purchase, notecards will be sandwiched between card board or foam core and wrapped with brown shipping paper, or mailer envelopes. Larger orders of note cards will be boxed and sent in sturdy shipping boxes.
All prints are enclosed in clear archival bags and packaged between sturdy board, or packed in strong mailing boxes.
Packages are marked on the sides with DO NOT BEND and Fragile - ART INSIDE.
If an order arrives damaged, I will replace it and make sure you receive your art.
My goal is to have the happiest owners of my art possible. Anything I can do to get my art to you is my primary focus.
Happy owners, happy art, happy artist.
