Original framed soft pastel of a spring day in Grand Teton National Park.   Outside framed dimensions are 12x14 inches. The original is 5x7 inches. All archival materials and framed with UV-protective acrylic (instead of glass.) This is an area I enjoy spending time in after an early season hike.  You can see the Menor's Ferry landing to the bottom right.  Arrowleaf balsam root flowers are in abundance and the sage is fresh and regrowing.  The cottonwoods are leafing out and all is fresh and new again.  
*All of my soft pastels are unsprayed - which means there is some natural pastel dust you may see.  That is normal and shows you you have the original.  Spraying with a fixative "kills" the highlights of an original soft pastel.  As a result, pastel artists frame originals with a "shadow-box" effect where we build protective air-space between the art and the acrylic to protect the surface.
